About the Museum

The purpose of the Coryell Museum and Historical Center is to collect, preserve, document, exhibit, and interpret cultural materials related to the Coryell County region of Central Texas and the settlement and development of this gateway for pioneer immigration to the Texas Frontier.

The Coryell Museum and Historical Center will provide a wide range of cultural, educational, and research opportunities relating to issues in the arts, sciences, and history for the people of the Coryell County area, the State of Texas, and all visitors.
